Student’s communal life is expressed by its activities, mostly developed and undertaken by commissions organised by resident students themselves, gathered according to their own tastes and interests.
Such is the case for activities as theatre play, various sports, computer science, photography, and any other developed by the resident student’s own initiative, who may through the accordingly organised Commission, develop the programs that have been previously approved by the Board of the Student’s Residence (Colegio Mayor).

All through the lecture period are held in the Student’s Residence (Colegio Mayor) different events, organised by students themselves.
For some of its cultural activities, the University of Alicante makes use of the premises of the student’s residence (Colegio Mayor), particularly its auditorium, activities in which the resident students make take part.
